What we do
We build technology around real human needs.
Apaxaa (APAXAA TECHNOLOGIES LTD) is a Nigerian technology company building products that remove friction, not create more of it. We bring together product thinking, engineering and design to create useful digital experiences that respect people's time, money and attention.
Every product we ship is held to a simple standard: does it make something genuinely better for the person using it? If the answer isn't a clear yes, we go back to the drawing board.
Learn more about Apaxaa→Product thinking
We start with the problem, not the feature. Every decision is measured against real user value.
Engineering craft
Fast, reliable, secure. We build systems designed to hold up under real-world pressure.
Design discipline
Interfaces should feel obvious. We sweat the details so users don't have to.
Long-term view
We build foundations meant to compound — not chase short-lived trends.

Product 03 · Fraud and security
Rael.
The safety layer under our products.
Rael is the fraud and security engine we built to protect the people who use our products. It works quietly in the background, helping keep accounts and money safe.
It protects Joyet today and will protect Vernsa when it launches. We designed it so other platforms can use it too.
Discover Rael→Protection built in
Every Apaxaa product is protected by Rael from day one, so safety isn't an afterthought.
Built for many platforms
Each platform connects to Rael separately and only ever sees its own data.
Privacy first
Rael is designed to keep as little personal information as possible.
The Apaxaa family
Three products.
One parent company.
Apaxaa owns and builds every product below. Joyet turns crypto into everyday money, Vernsa moves money between people, and Rael keeps both of them safe.

How we work
Built on trust.
Not shortcuts.
People trust us with their money and their information. These are the commitments behind every product we make.
Safety first
Products that handle money have to be safe before they can be simple. Security is part of everything we build.
Licensed partners
Regulated services in our products, such as payments and identity checks, are provided by licensed partners under written agreements.
Your data, protected
We handle personal information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and we never sell it.
Honest about what we are
Apaxaa is a technology company. It is not a bank and doesn't hold a CBN or SEC licence.
How we think
Simple ideas.
Serious execution.
Four principles shape everything we build — from the first sketch to the final line of code.
User first
We start with the person using what we build and work backwards. Every feature earns its place by helping someone.
Think long term
We build foundations designed to become stronger with time — not products that break under their own weight.
Move with purpose
Speed matters, but meaningful progress matters more. We'd rather ship one thing that lasts than ten that don't.
Stay curious
The best products come from constantly questioning what's possible. Curiosity is our most valuable tool.
